ViperJet™ Kit

Only the company's website.

http://www.viper-aircraft.com/

No plans or three views there... unless you purchase a 'plane from them !
Nice plane !

There is contact info on the website, they may be willing to provide you with 3 views if you tell them what your project is. Heck, if nothing else, they will get free exposure amongst a community of aviation buffs (albeit R/C).

Nice plane. I grubbed through the images.. there are a few good ones.. I just couldn't find a nice top view. Scaled and all lined up. Enjoy.

I contacted them (http://www.viper-aircraft.com/) about 2 months ago and explained I was a modeler and ask them if they might kindly provide me a three view, in any form.

Never got a response.

If anyone has more luck than I did, would you please share.

Side note, I contacted http://www.avtechgroup.com/ (Javelin Jet) at the same time and they sent me a 3 view the same day I ask.

Here is a link to the three view they provided, http://www.dchobby.com/rcgroups/javelin.html

Sorry do not know how to post an attached *.pdf file to this post.

The Javelin just looks fast. And a twin engine setup. It will have to wait (for me).

Thanks Keven & Klaus. ViperJet looks a like a good subject for the nano-bandit construction technique. A wing-topview and cross-sections would still be nice to have. I'll try and make something up. Stay tuned.

Suncoaster -- still with us?

Sweet little jet. I've traced the photos and added a little interpretation. How about a four-view drawing!! I'm still thinking it would make a nice EDF40 nano-viperjet. Any takers?

Enjoy.

Nice work.

The only fans I own are 480 sized, not that I know much about any of this.

How about stations and cross sections.

Might you have that file in CAD format?

Thanks. I really got distracted by this one.

The Nano-bandit and its ilk are 5oz AUW jets based on 12mm brushless motors. Surely, you've seen it.

CAD format.. I wish. I'm using FreeHand 7.0 for line drawings, I can export to PDF, Adobe Illustrator, Targa, Windows Metafile and numerous others like TIFF, JPEG, etc. Any help to you?

How about stations and cross sections.
Not yet. No. Probably not. Without a 3d cad program they would be a complete wild guess. If you make anything from these drawings please post pictures.. or add more drawings to this thread.

I can not add anything for the Viper.

I do have something for the Javelin, see http://www.dchobby.com/javelin/javelin.html

Does that work?

As time allows, I'll add to that drawing.

I'm not setup for 3D. You asked for stations and cross sections. If you are interested in a ViperJet collaboration I'm up for it. I can try making cross sections, but I'd need your CAD help to prove the fit.

Out of curiosity what CAD tool are you using and can it import any of the line-drawing formats I listed?

If you want to share your drawings please create a new javelin build thread. I'm sure you'll find people will be interested in it. Can you export to Windows Metafile or adobe illlustrator?

I'm always up for sharing drawings and such. There's money to be made, but most folks here are so thrifty So there isn't much money for plans. People will download a free plan if it goes by, even just to add it to their collection of plans and drawings.

Check out Hawker's collection.. staggering.

Roy you can post upto a 100kb file using the "Go Advanced" button, then "Manage Attachements" then "Upload". Easy as cake.
