My name is snowball and I have a problem...

oh god im addicted...
what is this?! a disease?! I cant stop buying RC stuff... my computer is begging for new parts, but i keep buying more stuff for my planes!

haha.. so ive got 120 bucks to spare.... and i dont know what to do with it!

Its a TERRIBLE feeling... i have money... but i dont know what to get! hahaha
every kid spends time saving for something... something they know they want, and always thinking about it... but now i have money and i dont know what i want...

My fancyfoam.com plane is flying so well i dont want to buy another inferior plane. What can i get for 120 bucks that would be fun. I dont have any extra electronics, so any plane i get will require a Radio Rx, ESC, powersystem, and servos...

So whats cheap that i could have some fun with? Im thinking about a slowstick....
i can use my Kokam 1500 3s1p packs, and it comes with a powersystem (probably have to get the 400 size version for those lipos)...

If you had 120 bucks to spare... what would you get?

As addictions/diseases go, this one isn't THAT bad. Just think of what it would cost you to chase Wimmen!

I'd say you probably need to start looking at cameras, still or video for your toys. I've had and pursued that particular bug since I was about 10 years old. 42 years later, I still have the disease. (G)

I'd suggest a bundle of foam, an Rx, a couple of servos, and a motor/ESC combo. If you can't quite get that from 120 dollars just get the foam and servos, and move the Rx and ESC between planes.
Then start browsing the foamie forum for ideas and free plans.

That way you could have a different experimental plane each week that you won't be too upset about if it flies poorly (or crashes horribly) because you can build something in a few evenings and you've already got one good plane that you can rely on, so you haven't wasted a trip to the flying field.

I sort of agree with Robin. Get another motor, gearbox, servos, ESC, battery, Rx, in that order. Then scrounge material and plans for another airframe. $120 will get you a brushless motor, gearbox and ESC on eBay. If you go for a CD rom motor you would have money left over for servo's and maybe more.

how bout an MPX Micro Jet.... 26inch wingspan ( i could also get a teacher to keep it in their classroom). It has a 400 speed motor so my 3s Kokam lipos will work. Its small, probably pretty fast and manueverable.

I need something DIFFERENT from my fancyfoam.com plane. Its going to be pretty tough to beat its performance, so i want a whole different class of planes.

Flying wings are a good idea. Is the MPX Micro Jet fast? Ive seen videos of the PCW, and am very impressed with it, but i dont like the idea of stuffing so much stuff into such a little space... especially lipo's.

I think its between the PCW and the MPX MicroJet....
any thoughts?

Chasing women isn't really THAT expensive, it's when you catch up to them and they run off from you is when it gets to be REALLY expensive.

Admitting the addiction is the first step. However there is no cure. For me it started with a Comet balsa free flight model.
Now look at me........

I would wait for Horizon Hobby to restock on Mini Funtana 3D ARF.
It is on sale for $89 and I would use the extra $30 on shipping and extras.

hahhhahahaha no
nice try though....lol

Naw i want a flying wing, as small as possible, that uses a 400 speed motor... that should fall within my price range... it can share batteries with my fancyfoam.com plane....

That MPX Microjet looks good, but its spendy for what it is.... 55 bucks for an airframe and 400 speed motor.....

i saw someone made one out of walmart foam glider wings...hhmmmmm..

If you can beat this deal I give up.
Wattage Hyper Wing 400 Standard $29.99 with the 400 drive system. For $20 more you get one with an IC-15A ESC and an 8-cell 5/4 AAA Battery Pack.

I think your biggest problem is your name..... just kidding! If I had $120 bucks to spend, I would get a new Triton charger.

Welcome to the world of e-flying!
