F-117 stealth fighter where??

Anyone know where ther might be a foam version of the F117 stealth fighter? I saw what I think was a balsa version, but I was hoping that there was a foam version.
O and thanks but not talking about the air hogs one at walmart.

Hello Rich,

I'm planning on doing a Stealth in Depron as soon as I find out what motors, speed controller, and LiPo's I'll going to need. I've asked the guys here for their opinion, but they're not talking The first Stealth will be 120 cm long with a wingspan of 100 cm. I've built a Stealth out of cardboard, just to get an idea how to shape up the top and get the angles right (see attached). I think the hardest part will be the duct work. On this model I'll use 1 Midi fan, that's the reason I need the power system first! So that I can build the ducts that'll give me the most thrust!

Ken,

I would highly recommend a pitch gyro. Roll is fine on this beast but the center of pressure shift and pitch up at angles beyond 45 degrees can be a killer.

I flew mine rather nose heavy which helped but it also made it heavy and sluggish on control. A pitch gyro would help a great deal.

I had a similar problem with my large Huck for 90 mm but on roll not pitch and the wing gyro it now uses makes it one of the favorites to fly.

Here's some old pictures of my 117 I did in 99. May it rest in pieces. I made molds for this plane that EAM now has and it is planned in the near future to fly again and if all goes well there will be kits. It's for a wemotec mini fan, Plenty of room for retracts to. In fact I had gear on the test model.

Steve

Sorry about the bad pictures. I will try to find the original prints. These were taken before the days of cable and digital cameras.
