assuming you have something similar to a Piccolo...
You shouldn't use CA to glue in the tailboom in the first place. You want to put a thin layer of CA on the boom and build it up to make it a force-fit into the frame.
If you CAed it, then you want to use some acetone to loosen the CA then remove it. If you break it, you will need to use a sharp knife and a drill bit (twist by hand) to remove the pieces.

yeah....its my brother's colco thunderbird. the tail boom came glued in.
This bird isn't as bad as people say...... It flys very well for its price.
The reason i am replacing the tail boom...is because i tried to install a ducted fan.....the ducted fan tail mod didnt work out.....it was too wimpy to hold the tail steady.....If i were you i would not do this mod...not worth it......I am now putting all new stock tail stuff back on it.
