Piper L4 conversion

Would like to hear about any Piper L4 conversion from any of the current available J3 kits i.e. Herr. Is the only difference the green house and color/markings? Also, what are the recomendations for a motor/system for the Herr J3?

Thanks, Tom

Yep, an L-4 is the same airframe, it's just a case of how extensively you glaze the cabin. I'm sure that you will get advice on the power considerations from someone who-s converted that exact kit but I would be astonished if an IPS-A or IPS-S2 would not fly it in a scale-like way, providing it is reasonably lightly built and equipped.
