I think GWS is just loooking for pilots that have used the older version that can offer positive feedback to help them work out the bugs faster, just a good way to do business.

There is no sim model of the GWS Dragonfly as far as I know, but this is totally irrelevant anyway, as NO sim is that accurate a representation of the model. A sim will only give you a feel for the control inputs, and help them to become second nature. when you try the real thing, this second nature will help you adapt to the behaviour of it.

You can download FMS, but you will need to buy an adaptor to link your Tx

Flight Sims

You can use Pre flight they have a micro heli to play with. I suggest that you have a joy stick.

Send me one to test Mr Lin, IF YOU DARE!

I really dont care about getting a freebie, like most after a year or so in this hobby I am waaaaaaaay beyond 3-in-1's but I am very curious to see if this thing is any better than the PHA-01 which was total junk.

RCX show, we will demo fly PHA300 with GWS Dragonfly.

During the RCX show, we will demo fly PHA300 with GWS Dragonfly.

I will also bring a few pcs samples of PHA300 for Ezone moderators who always come to help GWS during the show.

Mike, Fred, Jarhead... will get one to demo as well.

GWS current production of Dragonfly EM300H version which come with the main rotor from FEDA takes 3.6A at 260g lift. The GWS new rotor take only 3.1A.

When Max thrust FEDA rotor get 350g while take 6.4A. GWS new rotor max thrust 380g but takes only 5.9A.

I am doing more test to show you the results I will have. Post soon.

However. I found some cheap rotor take high current but did not give you the lift thrust very well.

W brand takes 7.6A at max but only 290g lift thrust for GWS Dragonfly EM300H version.

J brand takes 7.4A at max but only 290g lift thrust for GWS Dragonfly EM300H version.

No wounder PHA-01 will be killed!

Pls do not buy cheap rotors other than GWS original supplied!
I brought back many rotor blades and test with GWS RD get more referance datas. Looks quite different to the heli copter I have measured during my satying in GWS China.

You and our helpers will have the chance to use them for demo fly.

Who had GWS Dragonfly with PHA-01, you are welcome to bring to RCX, we will more than happy to help you check it and set up back to right position.
