You can use Wood or CF blades to solve this.. I've given up using the stock blades since 50% of my flying is in cold/frozen weather .

I happen to have some CF blades im selling ($37 shipped).. PM me if you want them.

More Dragonfly flights

Replaced a cracked tail rotor and installed new tail rotor screws as they just disappeared!

Getting more hovering in and it is going great though hard! The analogy that helicopter flying is like balancing a marble on a table is useful, but actually its a 3-dimensional problem. I'm learning you need to turn up the throttle if you are coming in too fast, and you can't just throttle off when you are in midair like you can when landing planes.

The helicopter needs a lot of right and forward trim and I may even have to learn how to set them inside my transmitter.

I am comfortable flying it when I am behind it and it is facing forward, but when it faces other directions, I get lost.

The ping pong training wheels are still very helpful--I've had a number of hard landings from ~4 feet up without incident. I can't imagine getting to the point where I don't need them.

I've got a set of like90 blades which I'm going to try out even though my GWS blades are working fine. Do I need to balance them?

New PHA circuit provide better mixer dynamic range.

The tail rotor can run more movement angle speed. That makes Dragonfly can fly at even smaller space at home in the room.

I just tested GWS Dragonfly 300H version with 1300mAh Li-po packs by using new PHA this morning.

Continiously for 2 of 15 minites flights, plus another 3rd flight for 10 minites.

Every thing looks fine.

Will keep trying....

End of this month, GWS RD will a few more pcs PHA300 engineering hand made samples for magazine's editors for writting test reports to be published.

I will send you one of that.

I know you are great micro helicopter pilot, you should be able to use better English to tell the differance.

Is it just gonna be the PHA300 now and not a PHA-200 and PHA-400 like you mentioned before?

It won't really be a fair test if the editors get hand made(hand picked) samples and not the exact same product that will be delivered to consumers.
