Looks like he is in the middle of building a Park Flyer! I think it might have a weight issue

Yup. Looks good. Pity the shipping would be a killer! Maybe if you start to make 'em, you can replace the base with a lightweight one, but with >big< bolt holes so us geographically disadvantaged buyers(1) can bolt the base to something heavy. No point in unnecessary donations to postal authorities!

(1) But I wouldn't live anywhere else for quids!

Here is my DF with Himark BL 2015-4200 (9 tooth pinion) and Fiegao BL tail DD with 4530 prop, 2 x CC10s, Futaba GY240 HH gyro, Azaar micro aerial, Like90 CF battery plate, Apogee 3S 1200mAh LiPos, OzPerformance wood blades (down under equivalent of Like90s)with homemade head stiffener.

ESC plate is made from ultra thin CF "planks" CA'd to the chassis rods. Battery is retained horizontally by small velcro patches, and vertically by velcro strap. Tail motor wires come through hole under elevator servo, while Align 6Ch Rx fits into the "cabinet". Signal wires on left side, power on the right (as far as possible...) to minimise rf interference. Gyro is mounted on a CF plate and located by rubber bands, so CG can be adjusted/motor screws can be reached. Micro aerial guided through servo grommets CD'd to undercarriage struts to avoid contact with CF.

As I break CF struts, I replace them with 0.078" stainless steel.

Maybe some ideas I applied might be useful for others?
