you can always find the slope forum in the Forum Jump drop-down menu at the bottom of every page. at least, it works for me...

Hmmm, ezone seems to send something that prevents the browser from seeing all the forums. Try dumping the browser history, then going to www.rcgroups.com

They'll all come up.

Then go to the ezone link that displays the electric forums, try typing www.rcgroups.com again, and you don't get all the forums.

This is what you can do with $7.00 and a little work, Ugly but is a good flyer. 48" WS, needs to be retaped, I think I will cover it with tower cote next time. I have flown this for 3 years! very durable!

@Duke 58 : That SR-7 sure looks nice ! Brings back memories of the one I had. I started out with the Coyote from Bob Martin, and then bought the SR-7, which compared to the Coyote, was lightning fast ! I managed to break the supposedly unbreakabke duralene fuse, so that was that....

You did take some liberties on that tail, right ? How does it fly ?

yeah, that 1-26 looks NOTHING like it used to! well, think of it as epoxy/tape camo... it'll blend in if you fly it over an office suppy store or something

geez, that pp40 is incredible. I don't think I've ever seen something look that nice hewn outta epp.

MTT, I wish I could say it flys good but I havn't got much more than a turn or two out of it yet , my regular site just hasn't been working well enough to fly it. This isn't my first SR7, my original was one of the first ones with a FG fuselage, it was lighter than this one and flew great with the same tail setup ( I like the rudder , it really helps) . I guess I,ll have to go over to the Coast and fly where the Big Dogs fly to really ring her out . Thanks for the complement but ya know pretty new airplanes like this one and Fubars are such good targets ain't they.

"Wallywing" Polly Pusher CLONE tested
I was inspired by Ken Hill (wally wing guy) so I loosely followed his design of the Polly Pusher. Mine has a 50" wing with a SD 7037 airfoil made of 1pd white foam, graphite booms and 2mm cloraplast tail section. AUW is 23oz. and I made a sloper pod (fuselage) making the AUW 14.2oz(as seen in the pic) the sloper has a 5oz. wing load!8-) It is very stable on the slope but only for the lighter winds, it floats very well almost HLG qualities. I am using a 400 motor with 1700mah nicad and 1600 mimh radio shack packs in it.
All gear outside of the power unit is put in the wing.

Flight performances are similar to the authenic polly but with a 4" shorter boom it is very agile and snappy in manuvers. I had to add nose weight to in winds between 15-25mph to get it to penitrate the wind. the general flight qualities were very stable even in 25mph winds, this plane will be teaching my father to fly for the first time later this month. If your looking for a fun project go to the wallywing website and give the pollypusher a try it is fun and will correct its self even at low altitudes.

I have very basic plans for mine if anyone is interested (and has a wing cutter) But I would give the original polly a look first because it is an inspired design.
