As shabby as it gets...........

....... unless you know different!

Newport, Gwent, a few days after Christmas, an hour before dusk, light going fast with very low cloud and bad viz, starting to rain and going stir crazy cooped up with mother-in-law!
Enough knotage over the sea wall to keep a few gulls aloft. Launched and flew up and down 75 yards in reducing viz and drizzle; it was a fix!

"What is that you are flying?"

Hi SD

It's a thermal / light wind sloper called an Eppi-SOAR. Only 2 channel, but I love it.
Stays up when most things won't and deals with quite high winds. Being EPP it has taken all sorts of punishment.

Not too shabby I'd say. When you need a fix, you need a fix!
