Great Planes Ultra E-Box Electric Flight Field Box
Got a new Tower Talk magazine the other day and noticed this new flight box for Eflyers so I ordered one. I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow at the earliest but surprisingly it was on my front door less than 36 hours from ordering it.
The box is designed to hold 2 gel cell batteries and 2 Triton chargers. My problem was I don't use the Triton, I use the Astro 109. My hopes were it would sit in the same place designed for the Tritions. Boy was I wrong... there was no way the Astro would fit in the area designed for the Tritons. So I began thinking and this is what I came up with. Being I only have one charger and one battery I only had one thing in mind.
I hacked the box and mounted my Astro 109 to the side of the box like a power panel!
