Hi again!

I`m sorry thougt I`ve read somewhere that people where running it on a 4,1x4,1. Must have been a different brand then. I also checked the pages where I get my graupner props for my pumped up funjet...cant see that there is any..lol..sorry for that mistake

Talked to Hoellein by mail this morning, and they dont get the Voodoo back in stock before 8-12 weeks

Cant see that there is so many that sells these planes. Not in Europe anyway.
Soaringusa maybe has it in,havent checked. But that would be more expensive, shipping and taxes to norway isnt ex. cheap

Anyone now where else to buy these ones....

Are all you guys running it with the futaba s3154 ?

Thanks again

Possibly, but I think the 41.3 thing is likely just a typo. This company demo flies at many large model shows in the UK and the Voodoo they demo fly and kits they have for sale at the shows are the same as mine which is the same as the rest in this thread, so I think they are the 'proper' Voodoo. Worth checking with them though just to be sure. Maybe they have a delux super size version

Way to expensive to, compared with Hoellein. I have to pay 25% tax on top of everything to. But thanks for the link

SoaringUSA came out with shipping and taxes at $410. Hoellein at $283. So maybe I`ts worth waiting for

No worries Most things are pricey in the UK. We like to pay more for stuff here

I was looking at that other Voodoo the other day, I think it was on Hobby Lobby's site IIRC. Nice shape.

I wonder why they tried to make those things look like mustangs? IMHO they look wrong

http://www.bigbruceracing.com/ stocks the voodoo too, in Australia... It may be cheaper than shipping from the US though? US shipping to NZ is ridiculous, its cheaper and faster from anywhere else in the world.

Hi again!

I think I will buy it at Hoellein. Often bad weather at the west cost of Norway at this time of year anyway

But I have startet with buying the HET 2W engine

Now to the Esc:

I now that weight is an big issue her, and space it seems...

I was thinking of Castle creations, I have good experience with those.
Question is if I should go for 50amp(34,6gram), HV60amp(56,7gram), ore 75amp(56,7gram)

The 50 may be to small. Max 50amp it says at castle. 60 amp is an High voltage, so the weight is the same as the 75 amp. What would you guys go for? I`m thinking 75, if it could fit

I run a scorpion 60A V2 Heli esc, works fine and fits well. Its hard to suggest esc's as its seriously tight in a voodoo so I cant gaurantee what will fit, other than the Scorpion V2.

Dont worry about weight, its ALL about space.

I use a Phoenix 45, nice and small. If you need more, go with the phoenix 60 (or 80 same size). I think they are much thinner than the ice controllers. The data would be nice. I believe most the castle controllers are conservative on 3s. I think watts is what gets them. However, 45 amps on a good 3 cell should be more than enough for the voodoo.

Speed 400 servos

Anyone know of a good JR/Hi-tec/spektrm alternative to the Futaba s3156

The futaba is the perfect size but I would like to kep compatible. I would also like MG and digital if possible.

servo Size: 0.9 x 0.4 x 0.9" (22 x 11 x 22mm)

Thanks

Why do you want MG? They serve no purpose in a pylon plane, other than making it sloppy.

If ya crash it, the whole thing is gonna be toast, who cares about the servo gears

Yeah they are, but you need to cut them down, not a big deal. I like MG when I don't have a rudder. If I strip a Nylon, I'm in the dirt.
