Agree with ya on the speed thing, My Demon lite feels like a slug in comparison to my dynamic (im not saying the demon is a slug BTW! ) , everyone who has seen them both thinks the dynamic is twice as fast, in reality its 10mph slower

jetdryvr - I see your running a 15-2, have you got a radar/doplar on it? Ive searched this thread and havent found anything, but I might have missed it.

Are hyperion DS09SCD servos small enough to fit on the extended aft aileron servo tray?

Ive read through this entire thread before starting my build, theres a good couple of years of info in here

Sounds like the only thing to watch out for is the elevator servo mount. Are you guys that are pushing this thing too uber speed using the stock elevator rod?

Anyone able to post a pic of taping the ailerons? Ive asked around at the local club if they new how to do it, some of them used to race Quickie500's and such, but no-one knew what I was talking about Im sure its simpler than im imagining.

I just went through 20 APC speed 400 props and balanced them, then cut some 4.75's down to 4.0x4.75's and 4.0x5.5's. Tedious....

I just took a small peice of sticky tape often called scotch tape and stuck down the outboard part of the airlion .It doesnt totally stop the airlion moving on the out board tip but it works to dampen down the flutter if it starts up.

The inboard airlion moves and the aerlion twists and distorts as the outboard tip cant move

With damp climates it might need frequent replacement but found it lasts a few weeks or even a summer season

Twenty props twenty flights way to go just kidding .The smaller props should shift nicely

Its the shizzle Its a bit more purple than in my pics.

Futaba S3154's a good pick for the voodoo? Any idea on how well they center? They seem to be the right size to fit, shorter and fatter than the DS09's. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20092

Sorry I didn't see some of these questions. I have been working a lot lately. The Mega 16/15/2 is great for this plane. I will look for vids but I'm almost sure my lil green voodoo did lots of passes at around 185mph. My red one does 170 or so. Mine green on did not have the black accross the front of the wing....I would roll out pointing relatively towards us for a pass hit full throttle and see nothing and have to pull up. I had Steve sex up the paint job so it's easier to see.
Hey jacko, I know you said you read this whole thread so are you going to put the receiver behind the elev servo? You'll have to if you wanna fit serious mojo in there. And that servo extension tray also...

Good luck. The plane rocks!!! It is soooo easy to build. Me likey.

How would you compare the Mega 16/15/3 (2800U/min/V) to the Mega 16/15/2?? with 4,5x4,5 prop

Massive difference, -3 is 2800kV/3000 -2 is 4600kV. The -2 will suck back at least twice the amps, and crank out much more rpm.
