The heli is actually the cheap (LMH glow used go from $50 on up) part if you build from scratch.

You need a good gyro (assuming you are using the LMH one): $80 street for GY201.
Brushless sp400 - 480 motor: $85-$125
Brusless controller (35amp min, 45 amp prefered): $85-$100
Charger: $95
Battery: $40+ ($60+ lipo)

Or you could sell you LMH setup and start from scratch with a good micro combo setup. You should be fine if you have stick-time on the LMH.

brushed setup will be lot cheaper. atomic force motor for 20 bucks and 45 bucks for esc. if you need charger and battery, that will be 50 for non lipo charger and 40 per pack. you probably already have gyro and others. One less servo though.

I wouldnt sell it and get a micro. they are harder to fly. you could probably do an electric conversion for around 200.00 bucks if you stay with a brushed outfit (Motor/ESC).

If you like the way the LMH flys you will not be happy with a Micro.

Buy right, buy Once

If you just want to do it cheap, it will cost you more (dozens of threads on that)

AF motor is OK, but you will be happier with BL for sure.
Depends on the motor. If you go BL about $80, for the AF about $50 (and no you can't use a car ESC)
What charger do you have?
120 is the better.
The heli max will work, but a HH like the futaba 240 is much better.

Do a search on corona setups, you will learn much.

Also, check out the EHBG up top.

Just did mine for less than 20 bucks.
I had the batteries for my zagi, and got some donations of motor and crutch and esc so I guess I lucked out. it is easy to do, I'm sure someone out here has a used 120 crutch you can have
