Our new look (ooo, the colors!)

I've gotten some feedback about our new look. Some of it is positive and some of it is negative.

Its obvious I need to make a few changes to make everyone comfortable with the site. I'll be implementing those changes over the next few days. At the same time we are going to be changing other parts of the site. So get ready to offer more constructive feedback.

I appreciate the time that everyone takes to offer their comments. I read everything thoroughly and take all the criticism to heart.

Nice look And I don't seem to have the scroll-bar problem many are complaining about.
I like it!!

Colors blah

The dark blue makes it hard to see the scroll bar.

The only complaint I have is the grey background for the posts.

I think it was easier to read when it was whhite and light gray alternating.

Ok, I removed the dark blue scrollbar and I lightened up the background colors.

Looks fine to me.

I have one request for the future.

PLEASE don't allow advertisers to display ads that move. I noticed that some do if I gave GIF animation enabled in my browser, but I usually have it turned off so they don't bother me.

I recently went to "The Flightlines Forum." Their ads move even with GIF turned off. I can't stand it. One can scroll down the page a little to get the moving banner out of view, but that's too much trouble on every open page.

Maybe it's just that I'm getting old, but I can't concentrate on reading when things are flashing on the page.

Looks better, thanks.

But the other dark blues are still too annoying.
Maybe lighten them a little? or a lot?

The top is too angular and the colors are harsh. I like the old look better

I like it better, but I also feel that the button fonts might be changed a little, and the dark blue toned down a few hues. Clock also...

The scroll bar is healthy again and I have nothing to complain about. I quite like the change.

There is something I find strange. The ezone forums have the rcgroups header on every page and the rcgroups have the ezone header. Hmmm...

Thank you VERY much, especially for un-colouring the scroll bar.

Neil.
