Got the Ice charger and I believe a new dremel tool. Its Merry Christma already!
Too bad it's sub zero. Went out at 4 today and threw up my ultimate bipe foamy. Fun for 3 minutes, frostbite started to set in at 4 minutes. Hard landing and ran back to the car.

What cha get for Christmas

Greetings All

First off I would like to wish all the fellow E Zoners a safe and peaceful Holiday Season and New Years. May your Christmas day and the rest of the season be filled with family and friends and good times!!

As for what I will get for Christmas, it will be the same as years past, nothing I am afriad. My wife is Jewish, and has become fairly observant over the years we have ben married (20 years on Jan 5!!) and has always been somewhat uncomfortable with the Holiday season. As a result, one of the compromises we have made over the years is that I have for the most part given up on celebrating this time of year. I do miss it but what the hey, it has all worked out in the end. Particularly since she supports me in the style I have become accustomed to!!!!

In any event, we kinda do the Channukah thing for the kids so they don't feel left out and I usually get the wife something (she is looking for a 20th anniversary diamond ring this year, there goes the 2005 hobby budget!! :-) ). However, I usually manage to sneak something in for myself every year, just haven't quite figured out what it will be for 2004 yet!!

Make sure you all report back to us with your stash of goodies tomorrow!!

It's Christmas Eve. I've got aproximately 1 hour to kill before the candlelight service at my church. As I wait, I happened to look toward our Christmas Tree. Last years tree was a Charlie Brown tree candidate. This years is really nice. Behind the ET ornament, just back from the reach of the tree, and under and to the left of the stockings. . . There is a box.

This box wasn't there this afternoon. It appeared while I was at my brothers house. I seems to have a familiar shape to it. 3 ft. long 4 inches deep, and about 12 inches wide.

For some reason, it stands out from all of the other presents placed under and around the tree this year. Maybe it was the sudden appearance. Maybe I'm becoming familiar with the contents usually contained in a box that is aproximately that size.

No matter the reason, I keep looking over at it and wondering what it holds for me. It is almost calling for me, like the sirens to Odyseus. Calling to me. to me!

Without realizing it, I found myself standing over the box. It's red and is covered in little Cristmas trees. If it contains what I know it must, then to have it covered with images of trees; trees that it needs to avoid. . .Kind of ironic, really. . . I'm going to take another, closer look now. . .

*Hi guys, this is Mrs. Papakeith. The man has obviously had waaay to much eggnog tonight.

I watched him get up a couple of minutes ago and stumble over to the tree. He's now sitting crosslegged staring at a box. I suppose I should tell him that the box he's staring at doesn't have his airplane in it. That box is still under our bed.
The one he's staring at has a tea set for my mother in it.

Nah I'll just let him figure it out for himself.

Merry Chrismas Everyone!
The PK family.

Merry Christmas!

This is what I recieved! I suppose one can't characterize it as fun (well...not really...), but since it was exactly what I was wishing for, I am quite glad.

So let me get this compromise straight--no Christmas for you, but Channukah for her....Brian, I think you got the short end of the stick in that deal!
