Hi!
This is my first edf project, the scale on Tunnan is 1:16

. I was thinking to use a Kavan fan with a Graupner speed 330 motor. I will use 2 cells 1200 mah polymer, but if I am carefull on the throttle I will test a 3 cells pack with a heat shink on the motor.Pictures is coming

Hi Oskar!
I'm currently building on the J35 Draken, or just have finished the plan and will hopefully start cutting depron tomorrow. Are you going for depron or balsa?

Oskar, I built the Dave Ree's Tunnin about 6 yrs ago. Had the Hi-Line redflame blaster in it. With the fans and power systems avail this could be a very good flyer. I modified the Hi-Line fan recently, to use a cut KY rotor and Mega /3. This would be ideal for 3s lipo. A draw was approx 15A on 10-1050kans. Don't recall exactly, but was less than the slightly larger Wattage fan using a KY rotor at 19A.

I sold the Tunnin two yrs ago, after rebuilding it. Was my first EDF.

Thanks St. Martin for the info, I really hope Tunnan will fly well.
More pictures is coming next week when I`ve got balsa.
The drawings that i use comes from Björn Karlströms airplanes drawings.

Nice book, that one would have saved me a lot of work! Do you know where I can find one? I assume there are more than Tunnan in it

Hello Brauer!
It`s 6 books I belive and all of them are covering diffrent type of aircrafts.
Reconnaissance, attack and more. I`ve got book number 4 and it includes such reconnaissance aircrafts as Tunnan, Lansen, Draken, Viggen and more.
You can find the books at hobbystores, librarys or you can contact "Allt Om hobby" who sells the book. I found a homepage with draken drawings from one of the books here www.aviacherteg.narod.ru/. ../Draken/Draken.htm hope it will help you.
