Cool
Winter Break + Fancy Foam + Christmas + Birthday = good for snowball

Haha... its thursday night.
If you live here in portland, tomarrow is the last day of school before winter break. I just recieved my fancyfoam.com Edge 540. Super fast too... i ordered it late tuesday night and found it in my room when i got back from school at about 3pm today (thursday). A++ to mike and fancyfoam.com. heh.. my birthday is in a couple days, and then a few days later... its christmas. Finally! a plane that should be able to climb fast!! im so sick of my skyscooter (yea i know its probably not entirely the skyscooter's fault, but its pretty weak).

Id highly encourage you guys to get one of the fancyfoam.com planes... or at least check out the Fancyfoam.com website. These things are top notch.

I got an Edge 540 Airframe, a Himax outrunner 850 motor, phoenix 25 Brushless controller, Apache 2500 Li-Po charger, a couple props and dean's ultra plugs. Im still waiting on my parents to get me a radio system, Li-Po battery, paint and glue. Heh... thats a lot of stuff... lol

Good times for me ahead.
Ill get some pics once its all painted and assembled.

Thanks mike!!
btw if you havent checked out fancyfoam.com yet, go do that now.

You'll get a kick out of the EDGE 540! I use the 4100 on mine and love it! Just watch the wind!

Don't get any glue in that aluminum tube! Be careful there!

iwadmin... too late... lmao
I realized it right away too. Since i used epoxy, i just rotated the stab back and forth until the glue dried, so it never jammed. Then i put a few drops of oil into the tubes and its perfect again. I almost had to order a new tail.... lol. That might be a good recommendation for the contruction tips section of mike's' website... use epoxy on the tail, rotate and oil it if you mess up.

Im STILL waiting on that radio!! grrr... but christmas is coming up. Otherwise its fully assembled. There are a couple pics of it on the FancyFoam.com Pics thread.
