Lets put together a list of tools/materials that making EPP building and some mild composite work(Join/glass a wing/fuse once in a while, make fillets, etc) enjoyable. These tools should go as far as giving one the ability to make a nice looking PSS plane, like in so many of the awesome build threads I've seen!

I searched the threads but didn't find everything I felt was needed, so point me to a thread that tells this if I missed it. I know you can get away with 10%(or much less) of what is listed, but this is a semi-ultimate list of tools. I'm not talking about $3000 mills/lathes and such though!!! Nothing here costs much more than $100 individually. I can actually afford to buy one of these things once in a while you know

I guess the next thing to do after this is to prioritize them(so I know which order to buy them in!)... ack!

Here is an initial list:

Power tools:
-Dremel tool + attachments[drill press, router(table and plunge), multi-cutter] & bits
-Tabletop Belt(4"x36")+disk sander(6")
-Small air compressor(for dusting/airbrushing/etc)
-Hot glue gun
-Planer?? (do they make them small enough?)
-Soldering iron

Hand tools:
-Permagrit$(block$, file$, etc) $$$$$....
-Sanding blocks(foam, wood, shaped, etc)
-Sandpaper(60 thru 400grit, dry and wet/dry)
-Knives/saws/miter boxes/scissors(various)
-Pliers(Z-bend, needle nose, etc)

-Measuring(tape, straight edges, square, triangles, flexable, adjustable)

-CA(thick, med, thin, kicker)
-Epoxy(5min, 30min, 2hr?)
-Epoxy mixing materials(gloves, cups, sticks, syringes, brushes)

-Micro balls
-Lightweight filler/spackle(drywall filler)
-Bondo
-Fabric scraps(kevelar, carbon, glass, mat)
-Goop(Marine)
-Acetone
-Toulene?

-Carpenters glue
-Fiber tape(1/2", 2", unidirection+cross)
-Various balsa, spruce, plywood scrap

Covering/Finishing tools/materials:
-Covering Iron

-5-6lb +/- 1.0 gram scale(for heavier less accurate weighing, AUW, etc)
-8oz +/- 0.1 gram scale(component weighing, accurate epoxy mixing)

Man, I have enough problems building "straight" when sober, I couldn't imagine how bad my stuff would look after bending an elbow a couple times

I only have 15 of those items!
