Can I use HM 105-3p controller for scale flight?

**Administrator, I post this question here because this type of controller is more often use under this group of flyers**

Hi

I got this HM105-3p Opto for my hotlining flying, where it either full WOT or off. Can I use this controller for scale/acro flying where one usually fly on partial throttle.

Is there any problem? I'm not sure what is FAI rated or difference in controller physic for other than hi amp capability.

It can handle up to 16cell. I planned to use it for 16cell in a 3D plane which will draw max at 70A. Is this ok?

Its my understanding that this controller can only handle partial throttle for very short period of time so I do not think that this will work. SOrry.

Regards

Shaun.
