Hi Jason

had a look at your building thread - very nice.
With e-flight weight is very important - or rather the lack of it. You could try to find lighter foam, there are some available with only 18kg/m^3. But be carefully with the vacuuming, the light foams are easily squashed - don't go below 0.7 bar abs.
For my own model I use blue foam of ca' 35kg/m^3, but then I hollow the cores which saves 1/3 to 1/2 of the weight. I wouldn't vacuum those however - unless you reinsert the cut outs again, perhaps wrapped in news paper to account for the lost kerv.
Have a look in my building thread:

If you are using a wren mw 54 (or any other gas turbine) you really wanna make sure the plane is very strong! This forum you are in now is for electric jets! Here is a link to where the turbine guys hang out. Turbines and other smelly noisy ic jets! LOL

A Jet Flyer told me this :

There is a spanish quote who says " El mal paso hay que borrarlo pronto " or in english "The wrong step should be corrected quickly" Better cut new foam panels with about 3 degrees washout, Jason... you will not regret. of course, in my humble opinion.

Best Regards, Enrique

So i decide to built another panel wing with 3 deg wash out built-in !! Then i can sleep sweet
