Parkzone Stryker (Not RTF)

I couldn't pass it up, bought all the parts to make a flyable Stryker using my existing electronics and batteries. I flew it a total of 3 times and think it flies well on the long can 400 and 8 cell kan 1050 packs. I am waiting on an align brushless combo (400s with their 20 amp controller) to put in this beast. I have a brushless Devastator with a Mega 4 in it, but like I said, couldn't pass it up.

Now if I could only shove a larger pack in this thing...

you would probably be better off going with a CD ROM motor its lighter and puts out about the same thrust as the align 400 motors on DD you'll like the align products i have a 20amps BL ESC and the align F-16 very nice quality but the lost model alarm doesnt seem loud enough :P

I suspect one problem though... the plane in it's current configuration is around 570 grams. I only have a 2s 1200 etec HD lipo so I am not sure that combo would work. The cdrom motor looks very tempting for something smaller.

The align brushless motor and esc combo works fantastic! It's no mega but holy cow! What a big difference! For $80 (both) I don't think it could be beat!

I had to drill out my standard speed 400 prop adapter. Anyone know the exact size of the shaft on the align 400s 2500kv motor?
