F117 says Hi to the group

Hi Guys,

I am new to the postings, but I also believe I have read everything form the first thread. GOOD stuff!!!

A little background on me:
25 years in Aerospace
R/C builder and flyer since about 8 years old.
Always built and flown Sail Planes. Mostly rudder and stab configuration.
Quit the hobby due to lack of rebuild time.
Just got back last December with a RTF electric cheapo
Have been flying building Unicorns since about February. Built four to date. Two for me and two for friends.
Just purchased the Ktronics brushless and ESC for my newest Uni. (What do you guys think of Ktronics?)
My old Uni (Zaggi 400) also went through a complete rebuild, (it really needed it) with ultra coat, much better than tape.
Just wanted to say Hi. God I love this plane, should have been named "VOIT" after the basketball.

Hello F117,
I am a relative newbe to the forum too. Welcome! And, welcome back to the hobby. I also took a break, I used to fly slimers and gave it up for lack of time. Now I am electrified! I design, build and fly too. Since the thread title is F-117, here is my um, sort of F-117 made out of the EPP foam my computer came in. J-250 and lipolys, 9 oz. Indoor or out she is fun....and no wobblin ! This thing is virtually indestructable and is a favorite of spectators in the park I fly in. Got any pics of yours?

Tomcat Fan,
Plans, we don't need no stinking plans! Sorry, I always wanted to say that. I just made the wing with scale amount of sweep and guessed at the rest. I then made the center section out of Dairy Queen depron. As you can see it is not scale by any means. Just cut/sand both wing halves the same and test glide it with about 2 degrees reflex on the elevons. You can do it! Go for it and build one!
