The heat is on! Pilots who want to compete can start filling out their registration forms. More details available on my homepage under "Ausschreibung" (only in German).

Looking forward to some exciting competitions.

I have a question about the loop with integrated half roll (of new F3AI-A sequence): is the half roll on top, or is it integrated into the whole loop?

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

Sorry, I have missed this question. The half roll is integrated in the top of the loop, i.e. the roll will start about 45° bevor and end about 45° after the top.

Hi Jurgen,

I find the first video (the biplane with the long-haired pilot) the best indoor performance I ever saw. It's slow, precise, gracious, constant speed. The result is that there is time to admire and absorb the beauty of the presentation. And the aspect that pleases me most: it flies on the wing rather than just flying on the prop.

Off coarse I am biassed, because I use to be a (outdoor) F3A flyer

Oops, sorry guys, I must have missed your questions (answers will come soon).

The German Indoor Aerobatics Championship 2005 took place last weekend.
The final results are on my homepage under "Ergebnisse".

Here is a first little appetizer as far as videos are concerned:

The inflight streamer releases were very cool. Do you have any details on how that was done?

Excellent flying! Thanks for the videos. I wish I had access to a nice indoor facility like that.

Ok, fresh videos from the Championships are on www.rcmania.cz. Start on this page... and come back often, as I will be adding more every day.

Enjoy!

Hi Joe,

I have collected data of most of the models flown during this years championship, but it takes some time to process them.

This year I took the time to take pictures of every competitor with his (her) model. Let's start with the F3AI-B class:
