motor for a shock flyer or similar planes.
I have an AXI 2208-34 on a shock flyer and it works great with 3 Lipolys in series and a phoenix 10 ESC. The motor and ESC stay cool. I can fly for 15 to 20 minutes (ususally at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle) on a 700 mah 3-S lipoly. I am still learning alot about electrics having started with them only 4 months ago. I like to build planes out of blue cor, however I don't know what engine, thrust, engine weight, and current draw ESC is best. I have an AXI 2212-34 with a phoenix 25 on 3-lipolys from an old Southern X2 however it seems too heavy for my 30 inch ultimate bipe I built from Tim Hart's design. I would like to try some of the PJS motors on 3S lipolys and use them in a shock flyer or the 30 inch ultimate bipe. Can anyone tell me which PJS will work well with plenty of thrust (equivalent to the AXI 2208-34)and similar weight and what ESC it needs. Thanks. Sagan
