Howard/Tony I'd be interested to see a plan, and/or magazine article, copy for the J&H; looks like a useful possibility for US Nostalgia Rubber. All expenses paid, of course!

Yeah, J & H is a very good thing. Easy quick build, and a super flyer.
Looks like Tony has sent you the info. Jim. My printer-copier-scanner has gone U/S.

Can I get the pdf file for that too? It looks like a serious rubber model. Like I really need another large rubber model on the to build list...

The only time it gets 'SERIOUS' is when your over 1000 turns on the rubber.

lt's quite an easy thing to fly, right thrust, down thrust, left rudder tab and left tail tilt, and away she goes----just about straight up with a right bias, then as the turns slow down goes off into a very nice left had glide.

You may notice the strange looking thing on the bottom of the fuselage.
On the first flight in the comp. it landed (D/T) on a rock and broke a longeron, so had a very scrappy bit of balsa that l cyno'd onto the damage so the fuselage would not collapse under full turns----it never, and although is a bit rough, simply sanded it a little and doped some old Modelspan onto it.

Oh, that's all? My indoor models must be on the level of national security since I've got one that takes on the order of 3500 turns.

LIM JOON Wakefield.

A very 'serious' rubber model. LIM JOON Wakefield from 1941, and even signed by the designer on the wing and fuselage. 45in span,100g of rubber, single blade folder, and do they go.
Allan Lim Joon lives in Melbourne and is still playing model planes.

And my favorite: Maxout IV just after takeoff. Where'd the landing gear go?

Treetop,

The E-22 is available through Penn Valley Hobbey Center (they own Northeast Aero). It's an older design and rather twichy unless you increase the dihedral. But it looks super cool in the air. Too bad the wing lies in a trunk in two pieces after the plane tried to buzz a steel pole.

Ouch! - well that is freeflight for ya! Thanks for the information.

My biggest problem with them was always the kids that can outrun me and not realizing how thin the tissue is pick the plane up and hand it to me with new finger holes in the covering, tt
