The model was purchased from e bay earlier this year and was in need of tlc ,the Telco motor took a lot of searching to get the parts i needed but its all good to go and with a bit of luck should be flown this week,
thanks for your help.

Hi! I just joined the forum and wanted post a picture of the Hysteria 1000 that I just completed. I'm using a K&B 40 engine. She has yet to fly. This weekend I'm going to balance her according to the plans CG. It turned out to be a nice build

Your Hysteria is looking good. Should be a real weapon.

Y-bar

Y-BAR almost finished. 40in span power model from 1954.

Have a choice of either DC Spitfire, DC Sabre or a much lighter Webra Piccolo.
They all have the same width radial mount. I have captive nuts inside the firewall.
Model weighs 220 grams/7.75 ounces with the Sabre/Spitfire, and 180 grams/6.35 ounces including propeller, mini Seelig timer and eye dropper tank.

The CG is just in front of the TE with the Piccolo as marked on the plan, but at about 65% from the LE with the Sabre.

I think at this stage it will be first flown with the Piccolo.

4 year old Granddaughter hanging on tight to it as it's was windy.

Excellent! Could you give some details on the twin? What's the weight, prop size, rubber, length of the nacelles?

Thanks!

Thanks guys!!

I think the 219 came in around 8 or 9 grams but I can't recall. Rubber was around 3X the peg to hook length. More details in the build thread
