No Jim, no dice with Phil.

Some years ago l saw an article in Aeromodeller mag. that he could make and supply, so when l built the LA17 (not that it is a 17) l sent him $30.00 Aussie and l got a very nice hand written note back saying he was now too old to make any more----BUT in the envelope he sent his Sabre plan with all the former etc details as well as $10 back, kept $10 to cover post----he should have kept the lot, as to me the Sabre plan is worth heaps.

The Sabre is still on the 'back burner' but one day when l get the Lavochkin sorted out l shall build it.

So if anyone has an impeller l am happy to pay your price.

I've gone back fifty years to my old 1955 "Walkin' Shoes" design and reduced it to 80% for a "Mk.2" that fits the NFFS 'Classic Glider' rules. Mk.3 scheduled for 2055 .....

You even lost your SMAE decal-----waterslide l will bet.

By the way, that pic could be here, T-Shirt, old torn off Jeans, guess we all look the same.

Big change from 50 years ago in the Aeromodeller pics of the day----not that l ever wore a tie, but a nice shirt was the go----must have sent my poor old mum nuts with the washing.

(Gave it an edit, now it makes sense---was it late at night--too much turps, or plain old not checking---stoooopid)
