Both look very nice and workmanlike on the ground too !!
Pity recovering the old tissue and dope is such a job getting
the stuff off, but there is no mistaking its age and credentials.

Very nice models Sundancer. Also built a Tom Thumb for electric and it was a nice flyer. Actually originally it had a small AIr Hogs compressed air motor & tank but the motor runs were so short it didn't have much endurance.

How many square inches on the Telstar II? It looks tiny in your hand. I'm guessing a couple hundred squares.

Pat, That flight really demonstrates the various segments of a perfect flight.
It's very interesting that when the DT kicks in the violent stalls become a downward mushing descent with little forward movement.

Surely that is what's supposed to happen? Well, it always was with my F/Fs.

Great video of a lovely flight; however, I can't help thinking that the same flight in "typical" conditions I used to fly in in the north west of England would have finished up two or three miles downwind and involved a two hour retrieve, probably including a bit of tree climbing. Which, sadly, is why I only fly radio now. But it's nice to see it done properly again.
