Looking for Old Timer plans/kits
I want to build a plane with the classic old-timer look with a pylon mounted, polyhedral wing. I have an AF05 with superbox which should provide a nice, sedate flyer in a 60" or so freeflight design on a 3S LiPo pack. I also have an AF25 if I find something larger.
I'm looking for "catalog" sites where I can browse. I am not able to get a usable URL for Bob Holman Plans: www.bhplans.com does not open for me. Thanks for any pointers. David |

I am traveling in Asia, and the country I am in has some "routing problems" getting to certain sites. I have been trying for two days.

OK. See if you can get through to http://www.nexusonline.com/pages/nexusdirect.cgi They have an on-line plans service which includes a "Power Vintage" category.

Duh! The only time I have been outside of e-zone has been for the Vendor and For Sale forums. Thanks. p.s. I liked your Sopwith Tripe CG change system in SM. I remember Derek getting in trouble for calling round cells "jugs" on the scale forum, but you demonstrate the proper use of the word. |

Went to Old Timers forum. I ran down the Spirit of Yesterday website and found what I wanted: A electric (geared 05) Playboy kit that can be built with the pylon and Polyhedral wing.
I'll still take other ideas, but a kit is what I would prefer. I won't order anything until I get home on Thursday evening. David |
