oh, yeah... here's a shot of the motor mount from m-a-e, which nicely hugs around the cdrom base tubing. nice and light-weight design, i might add.
i've used gws glue, which i have a ziplok bag of, and some 10 minute epoxy, for the wing and tail group mounting to the fuselage. with depron construction, it is pretty easy to use whatever glue type you prefer to work with, of course other than regular ca, which will melt a hole right through...
i did cheat a little here though... since i had this whole red/black theme going on, i went ahead and made my own "slick" sticker, which is mounted on the left side of the wing. it's pretty slick, i think... yahaha. overall, i think the build time was around 4-5 hours, including glue curing time. if i built another one, i could probably do it under 3 hours, i would think.
can't wait to fly this thing.
