Pinion and spur gears
Good morning,
I am about to install my first DCM 189 motor in a bird dog bipe. Could you please tell me the correct way to install the pinion gear onto the motor shaft and the spur gear onto the prop shaft? I have a gear box and the parts needed to complete the power system, but the method of installation is something I am unsure of and I am leery of just using a hammer. I have a puller for changing gears but not a pusher.  Thanks much. Cheers. David Culver |
