Storing Li/Po charged or discharged
Well due to the current glut of bad weather it is some 2 months since I had a flight and my mind was pondering on how I should be storing my Li/Pos. I have read that they will keep their charge for ages. I charged/topped one of them up, it was about 1/2 empty. The other I have left. The cells are 3S2P but do not have the individual cell taps on them.
What is the best regime for long term storage please.

The following is a lift from the Kokam/FMA Lithium Polymer Cell
application manual, available at www.fmadirect.com
Kokam cells are shipped with a 50% charge and should receive charge to full capacity with the appropriate charger before use. LiPoly cells may be stored at full charge or discharged to 50% capacity for storage. It is desirable to store the cells at room temperature as shown in Exhibit 10 unless cells will be cycled before use in packs.
