WW1 3D Foamies
I've been working on a range of foamie models.
Currently two are flight tested and a few others are on the drawing board. (I'm also working on an indoor version of the DR1 see the following thread : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=305596 ) The pictures tell the story. |

I've often wondered why we haven't seen any 3D bipes other than the Ultimate, any 3D monowings (Thunderbolt, Corsair, Hellcat, Mustang) other than the often duplicated Extras, Katanas, etc. Your planes look nice and have a lot more flair than a simple acrobatic design.

Plans will be available early next week. they will be pdf files of the required templates in addition to the artwork for the pilots and the insignia etc. I've certainly been thinking about doing kits, however I'll go with plans first and see what the interest is. I'll keep everyone posted in this thread. Regards, Peter |

just a word of advice, on the bipe, explain how to setup the aileron linkages REALLY well. I tried doing an Ultimate and never could get the linkages to work properly (I'm positive i was just *missing* something very easy).
Both planes are excellent looking and I've always wanted both those planes !! KC - I did a sorta p51-3d - fatty fuse with an wing from a sukalyn/albatross(GPW's) |
