Start building an Allegro-Lite, here some photos:

Ribs form Laser Art, Boom for Tailboom, Pod & V-mount from Bud, Cabon Cap from CST, still waitting for the K&S Brass tube from Tower Hobby(over 5 weeks have pasted! ) :

Finished wing tip, total weight 22g, the quality of the kevlar wrap need to be improved. It's my firs time to build a cabon-kevlar spar wing, I am amazing about the strength of the spar !

Joiner assembly, I use cabon laminate insted of fiber glass on the bottom of the assembly,


Locate the ribs, joiner, cabon cap, web, and wing tip on the plan, apply epoxy and waitting for cure,


Wrapping the Kevlar tow, I get the kevlar tow from the fiber optic cable, it is very good for building the wing!

It looks like you're doing a fantastic job. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing it finished.

Prepare for sheeting, cut the sheet and wet it use watter, bend the sheet according to the curve of the foil, use heat gun dry the sheet, internal side first.


When the sheet dry, it is easy to be glued to the rib & LE structure.


Glue gusset butween bottem sheet and the spar, this will make a strong "D" box.


Mid wing panel after bottem sheeting, sand the inner TE to make it flush with the front of the rib

Looks great.

Don't forget the slight -0.5 deg washout in the mid panels when gluing down the top sheeting. The -0.5 deg works out to raising the TE at the outer break by about 1/16". This washout isn't essential, but it's good insurance against any washin creeping in later.

Your craftsmanship is superb. I'm very impressed and also encouraged to start assembling the rest of the parts I need to begin my own build. However, I think I'm going to be awhile yet getting underway.
