Mystery Aircraft?

Anybody interested in another Mystery aircraft thread? The last one was so much fun and now I've got broadband at home I can join in again....

Here's one to get you started.

Mystery 2

And just in case that one was too easy here's another to get you looking. I know we have some very capable researchers out there so I don't expect them to remain Mysteries for long LOL.

The first looks like the intake end of an A-7 or F8U, the second is a Japanese Judy dive bomber, I believe.

This is a Nazi IFO, predates WildRC's by a few years.

Arthur Sack A.S.6/V1.

Here's a real stinker. I think I may know the name of the designer, but if anyone really knows what it is I will throw a party !

I took it at the Russian Air Force Museum at Monino in May and I have found no references to it. I believe that the large tank is actually part of the aircraft (ie it's not just standing on the tank by chance) :

F8U is correct and so is the Judy, but what I'm after is the Japanese Manufacturer and designation.

That Russian looks like a piloted H Bomb or similar? LOL

Piloted H Bomb! Nice one! A definite LOL (although one wonders if you are not spot on with your assessment). Wouldn't be the first time some brave soul/sadly deluded fool was thrust into the unflyable or the frighteningly dangerous! Hanna Reitsch testing the piloted Fiesler version of the V1 springs to mind...

Good old aussie humour - you've made my day!

I believe the Judy is a Yokosuka D4Y1, though I've also seen it described as built by Aichi; one of those collaborative efforts, perhaps.

Do you remember the Cowboy in Dr Strangelove? LOL
The Pika at Pt Cook RAAF Mueseum was the piloted Jindivik, sometimes you question the sanity of test pilots! (Only Sometimes???)

Actually the name of the Judy was listed as Comet at my site.

And an easy one too, considering previous posts.

This one has the look of the US space shuttle, I wonder if they used it as a design reference?
