Here's my new plane!!
This is my new plane. An AERONAUT's ElektroCat.
Wingspan: 1500 mm
Length: 1000 mm
Weight: 1500 grams
Motor: speed 600
Battery: 7x SANYO 2400
ESC: Jeti 350
Prop: Foldable CF 8x5
I'll post some new pics and a small report as soon as it will take off.

Wow that sure is a lovely table, and the chairs and garden go with it perfect too!

I built one about 10 years ago. I'm surprised that it is still around.
BTW it is a tee tail. From what I can remember it flew well. Mine was done in red. I sold it to a friend who flew it for a couple of years after me. He may still have it tucked away in his shop.

DNA: it's a T tail model but picture is too little to show it.
Buddly6: The garden table& 4 chairs are made of soldered iron and painted with some kind of old looking paint (rustproof). 160 USD the complete kit.
There's a nice view of Madrid from our 13th floor so it's nice to have breakfast/dinner there.
I'll try to arrange a flight deck there to test the models from home.
Cushions are selfmade: ask mom how.
I'll post you crash pictures soon.

How 3 view type pics - I have an Aeronaut Elektro Akrobat that I bought in Dortmund last year - it is a low winger but yours looks very similar. I am interested to see how they compare. I think it is an old kit and that they were selling them off- the recommended motor is a Marx 300 or something ????
When I am ready to build I will beg some of the gurus on this site to help me select the correct battery>esc>drive combination.

I'll post some pics soon.
Be carefull about C of Gravity. Those old models use to have two batteries (one for motor and a smaller for Rx and servos).
I remembered that after covering and finishing my Elektrocat. Now I've to remove all Rx assembly and battery and place it forward.
Anyway, it's a very nice plane. Let's see how it flies.

Hi to all.
This are the pics of the first flight.
Weather conditions have been very nice here. At 14:00 hours we had only t-shirts (in February!!!!). Sweet wind and no clouds. Perfect!!
The first attempt to make it take off was aborted due to poorly charged battery.
The second attempt was fair but we noticed the wing was twisted and worked just like a big aileron soÖ.strong turn to left and kiss mother earth without damage. Donít store your wings close to the heating installation at home. Damn.!!
One of my colleagues had a spare wing for his own Elektrocat (pink!?!?) so I used them and next flights have been a real fun. Easy flying plane. We turned into a strong thermal and it climbed up to 200 meters aprox.
My friendís Electrokat had a fatal accident when he tried to recover after a strong dive. This wings arenít designed for acrobacies so you can imagine the result. Craaaaack!!!
The wing jumped out and the fus made a hole on earth after an incredibly long vertical dive. We found the motor 9Ē below the grass!
As a resume, Iíve to say itís a very nice model. Easy to build and fly.
And once again........thanks E Zone friends for advice and thanks FMS for training.

Here's a new picture of it.
Now I've installed a camera under the belly. I've used a canopy to protect it. There's a 9V battery and a 2,4GHz transmitter.
Seems to be an F-14's TARPS. Yes??
I've got very nice videos from 300 meter high. Sometimes glitchy due to some interferences but very cool anyway.
