Aqua Jet with 775 or Villain EX
Which is faster/ better as I can import AJ for the same as getting the EX in the UK?

The AJ with 775 is faster, especially on smoother water. Better is very much a question of personal preference.

If you really want to race don't use either - they are fine for fast sport use though.

IIYAMA, the problem is that most who think of fast electrics immediately think of races with class rules etc. If you just enjoy sports running go for it. You could also look at catamaran's which are generally faster still.

Thanks. Wish there was a UK or English speaking supplier in Europe but I cant find one that does 775 AJ

Alan of post #3 above has a good website with a number of other boats and all the bits and pieces you need. He's down in the southwest of England and really helpful. You might consider the Sidewinder, Straycat or Wizzard are about the same size as the AJ and I'm sure Alan would give you some hints on getting the most out of any of them.

haha you should have jsut kept tohe iv, put soem 15 turns in it, new esc, new props and it would fly, i saw a vid of one, villain ex's are good sport boats, but there not very fast, mine does almsot 20 on 6 cells. soon to be upgrading to 7.
