Smoke system fuel alternative?

Hi guys. My local hobby shop may not have any jugs of smoke liquid for a few weeks. Is there an alternative, that would create smoke, but still be safe for the system, that I could use?
I just installed the Sullivan's SkyWriter system. And I'm sure you know how hard it is going to be on me to wait two or three weeks to test it. I've heard of using diesel fuel. Could regular 2 or 4 cycle glow fuel work as well? Or is there something else?
Thanks for any and all help!

Follow this link & use the #1 Favorite formula on the top of the list. It works well.
