Any creative ways to attach wires to flat foamies?
My flat foam plane is ready for flight, except for the loose wires hanging all over it. I know these things are supposed to be disposable, but I would like to have some way to remove the equipment without tearing out chunks of foam. How are others securing the servo, battery, motor wires to the plane?

There are a bunch of ways to attach. Generally batteries, receivers &
ESC's are attached with velcro.
Servos can be attached with double sided tape or if you have a foam
cut out for them you can wrap them with tape before you push them
into the foam and then use a very small amount of epoxy or goop between
the tape and foam to hold them in place.
The wires can be contained by punching holes thru the foam on either
side of the wire and using thread pulled over the wire and thru the holes
and tied on the other side of the foam.
Antennas, wind about 1/2 of the length on a bobbin and the rest of the
length can be threaded through holes about 3" apart towards the back
of the fuselage.
Hope this helps

Hot glue works great for attaching servos, just cut a snug fit hole in the foam, insert servo and put a couple of dabs of hot glue where the screws would go in the servo.
I buy the Cheap micro servos,< $10.00, and leave them in the planes. When you scrap the plane the hot clue can be easily removed from the servo, and it is as good as new.
The RX and the ESC can be mounted with Valcro, Put a strip of the hook side where you mount the electronics and put little pieces of the "furry" side on the RX and ESC.
Easy to change from plane to plane..
I just have holes in the foam for the antenna to snake through towards the tail..
Recently I found the cloth Medical tape, makes a good temporary attachment material, holds things in place but easily removed.
Batteries, again valcro!!! ( Valcro Rules!!!), I use the same method with the hooks on the plane and the fur on the batteries. ( a standard with me and my friends, so we can swap batteries). I addition to the valcro on the batteries, have recently found some Valcro straps at Home Depot that loop around the battery and do a great job of holding the battery..
