Aveox 1005/2Y on 6 cells in Adrenalin??
I been looking for an Aveox 1005/3Y motor for my Adrenalin. So far nothing but one guy has a 1005/2Y he wanted to sell.
I know it will pull too much current on 7 cells, but how about running 6 of my 700AR cells and my CAM 4.7x4.7 prop? /Erik |

The 1005/3y on 7 cells works great in my Sokol..gets small real fast.

Hmm, maybe it can be further improved by slightly de-pitching the prop...
What do you guys think? Or does anyone have a 1005/3 for sale??

I would be curious to see what kind of current a 1005-2Y and a 4-7 Cam would pull on 6 cells. I've only seen the 1005-3Y used in small pylon planes and it is quite spectacular for about 100 seconds (on 500ARs). I raced a my S-400 powered Stinger against a 1005-3Y Stinger and there was about a 15-20mph (24-32km/h) difference in speed.
