Thanks for the reply,

Im not sure what your problem is then. I use my regular TX hooked to my PC to fly FMS with. Seems to work fine. Maybe someone else that has the same problem will reply.

Have you tried aileron trim? It may be swapped with the rudder.

Wheels and motor

Morning everyone,Just need a tad of help, Just about finished the mods on my SS and I'm not happy with my CG.One upgrade I would like to do is the foam wheels and I think it would move my CG to where I satisfied. I've tried a search but I think I'm computed-out (spent the weekend searching the web for carbon fiber fus. replacement for my Slow V) Is there one site that I could get both the Wheels and a slightly upgraded motor (370 w/ d gearing) for a backup.
Thanks again
Jack

Jack you can't go by my wheels as I usually bend a new heavier landing gear and wrap and CA it to the fuse so I can use any wheels I want as they don't have to fit the GWS landing gear furnished.

Jack - you may want to look at www.aircraft-world.com for the wheels. I believe that www.gwsexpert.com also has them.

For anyone interested, I've just tested a Graupner 400 6v on 8 cells.H gear,1470 prop. 17oz thrust @ 9 amps. Retiming got me 20oz @13 amps, but I was overheating the motor. Backed off some to get 19oz thrust @10.5a with a cooler motor.

These threads are so big that instead of reading through them, I thought I might risk asking if a 730 3cell thunder power pack will work on my slow stick. My 730 nimh packs are dead. Thought I would upgrade. If not, what will give good flight times vs good power?

I don't have any lipoes but i know from reading that you will most likely burn out the stock power system with that battery. A 2s battery should make the stock power system last longer, and provide good flightime. In about 10 min a lipo pro will answer your question, im sure.

What's the difference between a re-timed 280 and a stock 350? Can I expect higher thrust assuming the same prop? I've been using 1180's and the 280 runs pretty hot.
