Looking for a New 3D plane.

I've got a Troy Built Models 260 and am looking for something new.

I have:
-Himaxx 2015-4100
-Three 2s 1500 mAh lipolys (everyone is going to tell me to get some 3s batts, but I don't have money, and 2s works fine for me).
-Three Hitec HS-55 Servos
-Pheonix 25 Brushless ESC
-Reciever

Planes I've considered:

-Blade 3D
-Ikarus Shockflyers
-One of the three models from www.isanefomies.com
-One of the models from www.fancyfoam.com

Can anyone suggest an airframe that will fly 3D well with this setup??

I fully intend to upgrade to 3s batteries later on, but for now I'd like a plane that will fly with the 2s batteries. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm looking for a kit, I suck at scratch building, even with plans. I've tried and failed several times.

Hi Gizmo

If you go with ours, you'll need another hs55. The rest of your set-up looks fine. 3S would be better than 2S, but you should be fine.

Have fun

Hi Gizzmo

Take a look at our Viper 3D. We fly them all the time with the 2s Lipolys.
They will hover at half power and has great punch-out power. We only
use one aileron servo. Take a look at our website and our video at
www.backyadrfoamies.com
The website will say the planes are out of stock but I just finished making
more kits out of white Ultrafoam. The new kits are reduced to $39.95.

If you're interested in the Shocky and the Blade then you'll LOVE the Zoom Zoom. I've flown a number of 3D ships and this one is my favorite by far. It's a quick build, flies wonderfully, and its mostly EPP construction gives it excellent durability. Powered by an AXI 2212/34 it has awesome vertical and can do just about every trick in the book. Hovers like a rock, too.

For the money, FancyFoam models are hard to beat. Glue and go. Simple contruction and great flyers. If you have the ability, it will do the trick.
I am a happy customer. I'm sure if you have the time and the talent you could cut your own, but for the quality of the parts and the ease of construction these are a time saver and time is what I don't have a lot of.

Yeah...I'm thinking of getting one now.

Would they fly well with a Himax 2015-4100 with 2s lipolys?

Gizzmo, I will have to let someone else answer that. I got my first lipos from Mike when I got the Edge so I got the 3s Etec that he sold. So I cannot answer your question. Good luck.

I have the e-flite UB and it is a pretty good flyer....

then again, I only have about 5 minutes on it. I am using the 2015 4100 in an MPI box geared 6.6:1 with a 1260. Performance is good but maybe not quite as strong as I had imagined. Flying the plane on 2 cells would not be fun. I plugged in a 2 cell pack on the ground and throttled up and was not impressed. The plane weighs about 12oz. I think so any plane in this range would be about the same as far as performance goes.

I was surprised at first but after considering the completeness of the kit (pre-painted and probably about 95% built) I concluded that the price was reasonable. The airfoil on this airplane makes all the difference in the world IMO and it's going to last a lot longer than a Depron plane when it comes to contact with the ground. After building and flying the kit I honestly felt as though I got my money's worth.
