New sloper on the way! (A project my wife and I have been working on...)

Apologies if that title was misleading, but my intention is to announce the impending birth of my son, Josť Luis, who will hopefully become an R/C slope soarer like his father some day.

Josť Luis is a fourth generation pilot: his great grandaddy flew C-47s in WWII, his grandfather (and namesake) flew F-86 Sabres in the Spanish Air Force, his other grandfather has been a licensed private pilot for 30 years, his father soloed a Citabria when he was sixteen and is an avid R/C sloper, and his mother has done over a dozen skydives. So I'd say the Force runs strong in this one, eh?

Anyways, mods do with this thread what you will, but my latest scratchbuild should be ready on January 12, 2005 and I wanted to "share" with all my buddies on RCGroups!

I'm stoked!!

Steve

Wow, ultrasound resolution has really improved! Excellent that your wife's supportive of your hobby, maybe you'll actually be able to make it to the slope after your son is born

January 12, great time to be born! Capricorns rule!

Congratulations, Steve! Our first is due Jan. 22. Being a capricorn myself, I can also soundly confirm that, yes, capricorns do indeed rule.

Thanks everyone! My wife and I really excited. And congrats to you too, Dave M!

You can bet my spawn will start his sloping life the right & proper way with a Weasel!

(But who doubted that for a second??? LOL)

Way to go, Steve! He looks just like you. Got one on the way myself, due in December. Maybe if we all work together and have enough kids, then by the time we retire there will actually be some Social Security. Hehehehe.

Congratulations!
Russ.
