Those are some cool in flight shots! It looks awesome with the wings all twisty in that one pic! Hope she lasts as long on the slope as she did in the box!

That is an awesome plane. I heard from somewhere that C.R stopped making those kits, sure doesnt look 10 years old. Its a shame that would be a fun one to have i my "hangar" of slope ships

@lex
Have fun with it

My Turbos have had short lives! (sob!).. their very manuverability leads to doing dumb things too low and close to Ma Earth.
I had one with a OS 15 on it.. for a couple flights. My oh My!
The wing BTW uses an S3016 profile. The plane builds so easy getting a couple of cores might be worth the effort.
This one here had an incredible flat spin mode.. Full wing and full up, it would stop in mid-air, then rotate faster than you could count, yet come back to flying just by letting off on the controls..
I tried pitcherons on the larger version, the Turbo ST.. It failed miserably ... dive tested into the ground three times. Once the nose got down, it couldn't come back up.

SP-
I'm interested in this S3016 airfoil. Some of the Fermin boys are swearing by this foil(thinned).
But when I thin it to say 6%, it lookes like a thermal foil to me, with lots of camber; and some undercamber.
What percentage would you say the root foil is?

Thanks,
Target
PS. If I thin only the top line of the foil, it no longer gets undercambered when thinned, but, who knows what foil it is then??

It measures out to close to 10% on the plans.

I use the "print screen" key to capture the whole screen, then paste the image into PaintShopPro, crop to suit, annotate, save as .jpg and post here.
