BlackWidow setup pictures?

I am making the leap into video and am going with the BlackWidow 600mw system on one of my two Slow Sticks. The other will remain still AP with one of ZRX Doug's cams.

Does anyone have pictures of a SS with the BlackWidow installed they can share with me? I'd like to see what has been successful before I start fiddling with it.

Thanks!
Steve

Steve,
Wow, what kind of AUW do you have with this configuration?
Can you show us some pictures of your plane? I'd like to see how you have your CoPilot sensor mounted.

Pete, with ZRX Doug's camera, AUW is 24.2 oz. It can certainly carry much more. Left my digital camera up "at the cabin" but will show you some shots after I fetch it. I simply mount the CoPilot sensor on the middle of the wing with velcro.

Thanks very much for the awesome shot Kyle. What I am hoping to get are some shots of how people have mounted the BW on their fuselage so I can get an idea of the best location for the camera, receiver and antennae placement, battery placement, etc. I have seen some shots in these forums before, but can't find it by searching.

Thanks!

It's a little bit hard to see in the picture, but take a look at this webpage to see how I mounted mine.

I added a thin plywood fuselage and attached velcro to both side so I could try out different installations of all my toys

Wow! Bill you have me thinking in a completely different direction then where I was first going with the BW mount. I'd love to hear about your GPS capability and what you are doing with it. I have frankly been waiting on MX to add a GPS chip to the Zlog because I am so very impressed with his product and workmanship.

Any other BW mounting systems out there? I'd love to see all the creative genius that has been applied to making the BlackWidow work on a beefed-up Slow Stick.

Thanks!

The main reason I am sticking with the 600mw is because I think the 5v power source simplifies my options; I have a good crop of 5V lipoly's to choose from. I have nothing in the 8-12 V range that the 1000mw system requires.

I use it to fly the plane back to the field if I loose video contact. It is the ONLY way I will fly under the hood now.

How do you get a 5V lipoly? Aren't they 3.6V each?

Correct you are. I will use two cell lipoly's with the 5v regulator that BW supplies with their system.

Pete here are a few shots of my rig.

The wing shot shows where I mounted the CoPilot.
