spoilers

Ramair, I have never connected the servos directly to the spoilers (Schempp-Hirth type) ,but very close, with conn. rod about 1" long, worked just fine. I think connecting then directly wouldn't work, since the servo arm makes a rotary movement, and the spoiler actuator arms make a lareral movement.

high start

you can easly high start it.
if you buy the right high start

I never seen one. i knew nothing when i got it.
About the toque im sure 81 will do the work. Freind here got a Seira in the same size - and that faster ship. and he uses 81s.

sagitta

hey danny that sagitta is a glider that is old tech but its a real nice thermal ship
i have never known anyone that doesnt like them
i had this kit in the box for ten yrs and i could havesold it a few times for twice the money [its a keeper] i see now there is a place in ca.that sells them again
it loves to thermal buy itself and it will kind of slosh the tail around in turns and stays flat in turns
you will love it!!!
in todays standards some will say its a dog but most of those guys fly threw thermals with there sleak ships
the sagitta reads lift very well,i would have to say that its one of the best poly ships that i have flown enjoy!! ramair

I can attest through my experience that you want a MECHANICAL means of holding those kind of spoilers down. A pain to set up, but worth it when they dont open uncommanded!
