Yippee!
Please check-out my setup before I purchase

If you get a chance, please take a look and tell me if this setup is ok or not.

equipment I have:
1= Hitec flash4
2= CCPH10
3= 3S irate 1100 (Should I get 2S for the weight savings?)
1= gws4n receiver
2= Hs55

What I plan to purchase:
1= GWS Dragonfly base kit.
1= GY240 gyro
1= Himaxx 2015-4100 (main rotor) - which pinion? 12t?
(would this be the correct model for 3S?)
1= Feigao IPS brushless (tail rotor) which prop?
2= set of M24 rotor blades

Please let me know if I left anything out or If there is something I should change

Thank you very much,
-Jerry

3 cell LiPos will give you so much more power. I would think that this is almost the only way to go, if you are full brushless.

Some people report difficulties with this receiver when they have it in such close proximity to noisy electronics. I have not experience that directly, as I use a different receiver, and I do not recall what Brother #1 and Brother #2 use on theirs.

The only thing I see that you would change is the pinion. Use a 9 tooth with 3s LiPo's on the Dragonfly. You will have WAY more power than you know what to do with, dont worry about the weight of the batteries.
Also, I am not sure about the m24 blades. Being the maker of like90 blades, of course I recommend them. Getting your headspeed up is essential for good control.
Vince has a point about the receiver. They are not the best, and with the 2 CC Phoenix 10's, (which generate a good deal of rf noise) you may wish to consider a berg. The Berg 4 dsp is cheap and SOLID!
Standard prop for the Feigao is a GWS 3030 I believe.
Dont forget a head stiffener.
