Dhc-2 Beaver

I have converted the dumas DHC-2 kit to electric and am quite pleased with the results!

My current project is the same plane just enlarged 200% to give it a span of 60 inches and an area of 405 inches.

I have two questions

1 if want to use ailerons can I use the stock airfoil or is there a better choice?
2 what is a good rule of thumb for the tailplane angle?

Looks great! I like the Harbour Air livery selection - you're going to need some floats on that baby. Have you flown it yet?

Gee do you live around here, or did you just see that livery in a book? I think my friend might need to build one of these anyone know where to get the plans.
Cheers,
Grant

The stock airfoil should be fine. It cries for flaps! Also, 0 deg should be fine on the stab if you don't put the cg really far forward - there is no need to.

If you go for ailerons, don't forget to take out most of the dihedral. Scale is around 2 deg - you don't want more than that.

Nice work.
