Nice looking helicopter – mine is not very good looking because it’s patched up after being crashed several times. I definitely need a new canopy.

I picked up a used Eolo R22 and am setting it up. I hovered it yesterday in fixed pitch mode and I noticed that it's tail heavy with the 8 cell battery pack in the stock position. What kind of set up is that in order to move the battery forward~? Thanks.

Astro the money for the CNC tail box might be better spent on a better tail servo, before I switched to my 8417 I had an HS-81 on the tail and a full power climb out would drive the tail to the right since I put the better servo in it holds much better. Unless you suspect a problem from the plastic tail box?

ok. no I don't have any problems with my tailbox and in fact for my sport flying, my tail holds fine with the hs-81, it does kick slightly on full climb out punches but I can live with it for now. I just think the aluminum tail box looks super sweet. I do plan on upgrading the servo in the future though, I've been hearing about this Polo4? Know when that one comes out? I'll probably get that when it does. I'm sure I'll want to upgrade the tail servo as my flying starts to get more demanding.
btw. some people have tail rotor gear box twisting, I don't thave this prob but does the aluminum tail gear box prevent this?
That dual boom support and mounts also look a lot more effective than the Eolo pro one, I may want to do that one too. Whew, too many cool goodies for this bird. This hobby just hurts the pocket

Ya if your after the BLING the CNC tail box has plenty of it I havent had my box twist in flight but I have had two rough landings that twisted it and broke other parts as well so I guess I would expect it to twist It is easy to get carried away with bling on the Eolo they just look so good when you get them all decked out!!
